Personality: Spunky and courageous, Mudskipperkit is always walking with a pep in his step, excited about almost anything you’d set in front of him. He also usually speaks in a sort of “Of course I know what I’m doing!” way, even though most of the time he really doesn’t. He’s always ready to take a stand and face danger, though he may not necessarily always be too sure of himself. Mudskipperkit is always wanting to prove himself to others, so although sometimes things may get a bit rough and he may feel like giving up, it doesn’t disregard his immense effort. His doggedness and persistence to do something is incomparable, and it really shows how tough this small tom’s outer shell is. But, Mudskipperkit definitely has a lot of insecurities. It mainly comes from his eyes. He feels people think of him as weird or silly, and it can often secretly discourage him a bit, though he tries his best to not let that get to him, instead trying to focus on ways to better himself.

Mudskipperkit is full of adventure, loving exploration and discovering things, and his curious nature definitely adds to that. He’s always interested in everything he finds, and it fuels his fire for adventure even more. Any time he enters a new area, he’s always looking for any secrets he can possibly discover. An observant tom, but he picks up on small details very well. Adventure is something he is really committed to, though some other aspects may lack that. He’s a rather noncommittal type when it comes to others, uninterested or nervous to commit to anything really. He’s quite evasive and rather guarded when it comes to things like that, so he’d rather avoid it altogether.  He definitely isn’t the best cat to form relationships with, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have relationships with others, it just would take a lot of time and patience to make him feel comfortable to try and commit to any friendships or relationships. Though he does have an idiosyncratic feel to him, often able to be described as “peculiar” or “abnormal”.

Mudskipperkit is very trusting of others. Too trusting for his own good in fact. To put it simply, the tom believes the words of others, though perhaps it’s his naivety that most adds to that. He’s also incredibly magnanimous, a generous and forgiving type, though sometimes it ends up in the wrong paws. He’s also a bit soft on others though, giving him a more sympathetic and understanding feel. Mudskipperkit truly does try his best to avoid manipulative cats, but sometimes he just finds out too late. There’s a good and a bad side to trust, and Mudskipperkit can only hope that he’s putting his trust in the right paws. But he’s guileless, innocent and genuine with a big heart. He’s never quick to judge another cat, which depending on how you look at it could be a good or bad thing. Sometimes though, Mudskipperkit can become a bit . . . careless. Not in a harmful or intentional way no, more of a not really thinking of the consequences of the things he does. Sort of if he were to go outside of camp when he wasn’t supposed to, or running off to explore during training. He doesn’t necessarily think it’s that much of a bad thing, and even if it is, he doesn’t really pay attention to it or think ahead of time. But he’s free spirited, and doesn’t ever feel like he has any constraints. Plus, sometimes he likes doing his own thing.

Strengths: Mudskipperkit has incredible eyesight, able to spot things and observe things quicker than most. Perhaps his sharp eyes are due to the abnormal four he has, or maybe it’s just a skill he possesses. Whatever the reason, this tom sure does know how to spot detail, and he is simply unmatched in the skill. He is also nimble, light and agile while he runs at incredible speeds. Both strengths play a good part in one another and makes Mudskipper able to travel the land with ease, his advanced eyesight also able to play a helping hand. Mudskipperkit also has long fur, which although it may also be a weakness, during cold months he is able to withstand the temperature more than other cats might be able to, the cold seasons giving him much comfort. Well, at least not when the weather is too awful. Mudskipperkit is also courageous. He’s able to step up where he’s needed and with his determination he refuses to back down until he is no longer able to walk. It shows his unwillingness to give up and possibly gives him the respect from some of his clanmates that he oh so desires.

Weaknesses: Mudskipperkit has awful balance, again perhaps due to an oddity of his, a lack of tail, or maybe just due to clumsiness. Mudskipperkit still struggles with his balance either way, usually tripping over his paws or others, and it takes him a moment to recover. He still tries not to let his balance stop him from success, even though it truly is a bit annoying. Mudskipperkit also, even while being a Foxclan cat, is an awful swimmer. Maybe it’s due to the fact that he doesn’t have the webbed paws a Foxclan cat usually has due to his Eagleclan blood. But who knows, maybe he’s just not fit for swimming. He doesn’t like swimming that much either, and finds no real fun in it. Mudskipperkit is also a really bad fighter. Due to many reasons including balance, Mudskipperkit isn’t that great of a fighter. It’s a little sad to think about considering how much effort he puts into everything, but not every cat is going to come out of training perfect. Mudskipperkit’s long fur can also prove to be somewhat fatal during hot seasons, and can leave him dehydrated and exhausted from the heat. He much rather prefers leafbare. Mudskipperkit’s insecurities also tend to get to him a lot, and can sometimes threaten his willpower to hold out and do good, as much as he may try. He really does try though, and he hopes one day they’ll disappear from his mind, though he himself isn’t all that confident in that thought.

Description and Genetics: Small with a peculiar look to him, Mudskipperkit isn’t like any other normal cat you’d see, possessing four sky blue eyes utop his face instead of the usual two for a cat. Mudskipperkit also lacks a tail completely, making him look less and less like your average cat. But this tom tries to not let that stand in his way. His long black ticked tortoiseshell tabby fur with high white spotting is fluffy yet always carefully cleaned, Mudskipperkit somewhat paying attention to how his fur looks, perhaps thinking it’ll distract others of his strange appearance. He has long legs and small fangs, showing off his mother’s Eagleclan blood. He also has a rounded head, which gives him a softer appearance, though those looking at his face probably won’t be paying attention to that detail specifically.

History: Born as a result of his mother lingering around the ancient deity we call NYN, Mudskipperkit will be brought to Foxclan for sanctuary. Raised by Cometdancer and Rumblejaw, this little kitten possesses an unusual and previously unheard of mutation; four eyes, sky-blue like his mother. But what path will he take? His birth clan, Foxclan, welcomes him with open paws... but perhaps he wishes to rejoin Eagleclan, his mother's first home? Or does he wish to tread his own path? Only time will tell...
