BACKGROUND
He grew up with his grandmother because his both parents died in a plane crash. He went through the same college as Ran and he admires him for his inventions. He didn't know he would cross path with Ran ever since graduation, but it seems that they are meant to be with each other's company.
He would ask Ran to come over and visit his grandma, which, Ran would often refuse because he doesn't like being surrounded by people (since he is like a celebrity in the county).
