Ian is a 29 year old german shepherd who works as a supervisory special agent in the FBI. Ian is a very stoic kind of guy, he is not one to enjoy talking with anybody else besides his team. On the contrary, he loves his team and finds that he is happiest when spending time with them, even at work. He has been working in this field for 6 years, and unfortunately he lost his partner and best friend during a call, he about 2 years he was unable to connect with anybody, and he found it hard to accept agent Jarez because he filled in the spot for his late best friend. Eventually he won Ian over and they became very close as well, though this made it hard for Ian to open up to anymore people, he could not bare the idea of having more people in his life that he could risk losing. Ian was put to work under cover in a museum where he met Steven, a sales associate there. Steven talked to him every single day, nonstop, and Ian swore he hated this guy, and thought he was annoying. But on certain days where Steven couldn't make it to work, he found himself missing this guy rambling about stuff he can't really say he cared about. Eventually they began to get closer, and Ian felt a click with Steven, enjoying his company, finding a very sweet and warm comfort when around him, slowly falling for him. But he can't find it in him to tell Steven why he was actually there, that he was told by his chief to get close to Steven to get a step closer to solving their case. Of course he did actually like Steven, but he felt he was too far in to tell him it only started because he was ordered to. He can't risk losing Steven, but he also doesn't like that hes lying to him.
