CJ

Colbyjack(CJ) is a fluffy white tom with ginger patches. He has  amber eyes and is blind. He sometimes wears a red collar with a gold  jingle-bell/tags, or a red bandana.

He appears to be very laid back and chill. He'll be friendly if you  approach but tends to keep to himself. He likes to help out where he can  and will eagerly help anyone who asks, but has a tendency to push away  anyone who wants to return the favor and help him. He'll insist that  he's fine and can do it on his own and you don't need to worry.
Basically he's actually an extremely anxious boy that covers it with a mask of "chill vibes"

He's very aware of just how much he can't do due to his disability. It drives him insane knowing how much he has to rely on others to take care of him. He is constantly trying to find things he can do to make up for it, to somehow pay off that debt, but nothing ever feels like enough.

As I roleplayed him, he was a kittypet that ran away as kit because he saw his siblings being taken away by their housefolk. He joined an army of rogues, trained to be their healer and fell in love with a molly named Mysterysong and adopted her kits as well as had more kits with her. That's why there's so much art of her. I have no idea where the person who role played her is nowadays, this was all in like 2009.

Now I keep him around as a comfort character. He's very nostalgic and important to me.

He and Rain are roommates, kinda. He takes comfort in having a buddy who he can take care of that's too oblivious to try to return the favor. It makes him feel needed and like he has a purpose. Also, he sees past Rain's edginess and honestly finds it amusing, playing most of his snark off as a joke. He loves stubbornly arguing the optimistic side to whatever Rain's being edgy about this time.
The two of them are NOT together romantically, just an incredibly strong platonic bond.
