02 — Personality
IN THE 90S
Hey diddle diddle, meet our cat with the fiddle!--er, bass! Eddie is a young farm cat who lives on the outskirts of the city with his two moms and many more siblings. Originally, he was found by Bruce during one of his jam sessions in the city, trying to raise some money to help support his family. He was offered a position in the band, and starstruck by the idea of being a part of something real big, he accepted.
...He's still playing gigs in the city too, but at least playing in Tooth and Nail gets him some pocket change!
He's a sweet, shy, and polite boy, and extremely talented; he can play almost anything he picks up (he especially loves guitar, banjo, harmonica, and yes, the fiddle), and catches on real quick when it comes to music. Social situations, however, couldn't be any more different! The poor cat gets bad stage-fright in front of new crowds, and doesn't have quite the silver tongue like Bruce. What he does have, though, is a group of friends who back him up 24/7 and give him (questionable) advice when he needs it!
He doesn't drink or smoke like the rest of the band. Can you imagine what his mothers would say? Instead, you might catch him at the bar with his buddies during the day, sipping a glass of warm milk. It's all he needs to keep him going, and his bandmates respect that.

Like Jeremy, Eddie also pulls inspiration from many different places, but unlike Jeremy, he is more musically constrained to his genre (country/western/soft-rock/etc).

Eddie's full name is a direct reference to country singer Eddie Rabbitt.

Despite being bassist in the band, he much prefers guitar -- or any other instrument, really. This may become a point of conflict later on.
