Morgana Strand is an amiable but easily frightened Station Engineer who lost most of her memories after a work accident.
She led a calm life as an Engineer with a husband, until a work accident in 2559 changed her entire life. She fell into machinery, got tangled in gears and her body was mangled. She could feel her legs breaking and her arms almost giving out before she passed out, and awoke in a wholly different body. It was per her request, although she didn't remember. She didn't remember much at all. Decades of her life, either blurry or gone. She could hardly recognize her husband. Gradually, some of her memories recovered, but not before she lost her husband through a divorce, and her job, and many other memories that never came back. It was all too much for Paul to handle. And so, she retired. She traveled through space and saw many sights as she became more used to her new, lonely life in a hard metallic shell. Eventually, she settled down. Now she works for NanoTrasen, as a Station Engineer once again, recently transferred to the Southern Cross.
She is quite sympathetic, albeit very emotional and easily freaked out in dangerous situations. She also still suffers from a traumatic brain injury (TBI), with the occasional long-term memory issues.
