DONOVAN

Donovan was a pup who always knew what he wanted to be, it was clear to his family and friends as well that he was made of all the right stuff to be a police officer. Despite this, his parents did fervently hope that it was just a phase that he was going through and that he would grow out of it because they were afraid of the possibility of losing him when he was in the line of duty. Every single day leading up to him applying to the K-9 officer training, Donovan would train religiously to prepare himself both mentally and physically for the trials that lay ahead of him in training. It wasn't long before that training paid off and he was finally able to apply to become a K-9 officer. It was clear to everyone from the humans to the other canine applicants from day one of training that Donovan was serious about becoming a K-9 officer, his diligence to everything had no bounds and he never once was distracted from his goal. He graduated from the program top of his class and was soon paired with his very first partner, one Officer Jack.

At this point, a certain amount of his youth started to show in his eagerness in all things. Donovan showed an eagerness to do well and always seemed to derive fun from all that he and Jack did.
