Backstory   Mayra was once under the control of a powerful sorceress. Previously a loner, she had no one else to call friend or family. The sorceress took her in, giving her a home and food. However, the woman also had more selfish motives. She would test hexes on Mayra and would even use her for her own bidding. One example being that Mayra was used to intimidate people into getting whatever was wanted from them.
  Opportunity for a better life came when the sorceress's new apprentice offered to run away with her. After a hesitant decision, she agreed. They did just as they planned, managing to escape that night. However, Mayra still has to live with the problems that come with being hexed.
