Rain

Rain is a long furred silver tabby tom with white paws and tail tip. He has scars all over his body,and a crooked nose from it getting broken, then healing wrong. His eyes are deep blue. His left eye is scarred very badly and also blind.

He's pessimistic and snarky, snapping at anyone who approaches, only getting worse the more anyone tries to get close to him. He's very prone to saying disturbingly morbid and threatening violent things, but he's all talk honestly. When put in an actually scary situation, he shuts down.

He's been hurt a lot. Abandoned and betrayed by those he trusted the most, left alone to rot. He's been so afraid to trust anyone for so long that now he doesn't really know how to start. It's easier to just push everyone away, scare them off before they hurt him too.

He is another really old RP character. I don't remember his backstory entirely anymore, but I know he used to be a tribe cat with the full name of Rain that Washes Away Blood. I think there was something about someone he loved being killed and the tribe blaming him for it and he was banished.
I use him as a comfort character now. He's very nostalgic and very important to me.

He and CJ are roommates of sorts. He acts like he hates CJ's guts for how chill he seems when, from Rain's perspective, everything is so terrible. But in reality Rain couldn't live without CJ's calming vibes and consistency to balance out his own chaotic mood swings. They are NOT romantically together!! Just incredibly close platonically. Trauma bonded, actually.
