King Yanagi
[ Deceased husband ] Misaki met Yanagi when they were dragonets after Yanagi's mother became a royal gardener and the two moved into the palace. They were best friends before they started dating in their late teens and eventually got married. Misaki is outgoing while Yanagi is very quiet, but the pair are inseparable despite their differences. Others will describe them as the perfect couple, soulmates. While Yanagi feels that he is way out of her league and worries that he is undeserving of her love, Misaki absolutely adores Yanagi. Together they had three dragonets, Taiki, Sayuri, and Umeko. They also raised Ichigo, the child of Misaki's brother, like their own. Yanagi fell very ill when their youngest, Umeko, was very young, and he passed away a couple years later. Misaki was crushed by the loss of her husband, but because of her ghost sight powers she can still see him. Misaki and Yanagi are still deeply in love, and they will one day reunite in the afterlife once Misaki passes. Their favorite spot is the royal garden, where Misaki can often be found when she's off duty.
Prince Taiki
[ First child, only son ] Taiki is Misaki's oldest child and her only son. Taiki is the most mature of her children, and will often babysit his little sister, Umeko. Misaki feels guilty that she doesn't have much time to care for Umeko, but she is very grateful that Taiki can give his sister the attention she needs. Taiki notices his mother's loneliness and worries about her overworking herself. He will sometimes visit her while on duty to keep her company and encourages her to take better care of herself.
Princess Sayuri
[ Second child, oldest daughter ] Sayuri is Misaki's second child and her first daughter. Sayuri suffers from sakura disease and has always had a weak immune system, making her very susceptible to illness. Misaki is protective over Sayuri as a result, and she worries Sayuri could die of an illness like Yanagi did. Sayuri will usually try to distance herself from others to prevent herself from getting sick, choosing to stay in her room. As a result her and Misaki do not see each other as often as Misaki's other children, though they are still on good terms. Sayuri loves her mother but sees her as a little too overprotective, though she understands why. Misaki can tell that Sayuri misses her father badly, and will often relay messages from Yanagi to her.
Princess Umeko
[ Third child, youngest daughter ] Umeko is Misaki's youngest child and her younger daughter. Umeko is still a dragonet, and requires much more attention than Misaki's other children. Though Misaki is very busy with her work, she makes sure to find time for her daughter. Umeko was young when her father died and does not remember as much as her siblings, but is always very happy to have Misaki relay messages from him. Umeko is full of energy and optimism much like her mother.
Prinxe Ichigo
[ Deceased brother's child ] Ichigo is the child of Misaki's older brother, Kaiju. Kaiju died before Ichigo hatched so Misaki raised them herself. Ichigo is the last living reminder Misaki has of her brother, and she loves Ichigo as dearly as her own children. Misaki is very protective over Ichigo and worries about their animus powers. She must closely monitor Ichigo's powers, she is terrified that they might go mad the way their father did. Ichigo adores their aunt but also dislikes her overprotective nature towards them. Misaki feels guilty about having to watch them so carefully, but she would never be able to forgive herself if she lost Ichigo too. She made a promise to her brother that she would protect them.
