Marina
Marina is a Pokémon Trainer from New Bark Town, her goal is to become a Pokémon Master in order to become an example for people to follow and make the hearts of humans and Pokemon beat in unison. Her starter Pokémon was a Totodile that she received from Professor Elm. On her journeys around the world, she's been accompanied by many friends and especially her childhood friend Ethan who follow her in 6 different regions. After her travel across Kalos she decided to return to Johto to challenge the Elite Four and became the new Johto region's Champion. She thinks too much when she talks to strangers because have difficulty to understand the human mind. She can understand perfectly Pokemon language, she understood them even before her first words, in general people think she is a liar, others go even further by looking at her and treating her like a monster. Cause of that she became quite enclose and give more her trust to Pokemon than human, she has a huge facility to become friend with them. She is really close to the few human friends she has.She tends to cross her arms when talking to strangers. When you know her, she is a really playful and sweet person with her friends, but she is also a very serious person as it about training. One of the things she hates the most is to disappoint others and even more his pokemon. She is a really pretty girl that easily catches the eye, but sometimes she doesn't understand why there is so much look at turn to her. She hates storms, when she hear the roar of the storm she is totally paralyzed with fear, but surprisingly the attacks of electric pokemon do not scare her that much. In combat, she is a specialist in the control and transformation of the terrain. She loves to play with the weather, to make the rain appear, the sun, to hide in the fog and to put the field to her advantage like freezing the ground, to burn the vegetation or on the contrary, to make it grow, make the ground muddy or rocky etc.... ValériaValéria is Marina's mother, she is an archaeologist and Pokemon professor. She works with Professor Elm in his laboratory, which is why Marina has often had the opportunity to be in contact with the Pokemons of the laboratory. Valéria is often on the way for her research, so Marina had the habit of staying at home alone and fending for herself. Valéria often tends to ask her daughter for help with her research and often without taking her opinion into account (but without bad attention, she is just too passionate about her research.) 
EthanEthan is Marina's closest friend, they live in the same neighborhood and have known each other almost forever. Before the start of their journey, they spent all their time together playing with the laboratory's Pokemon, at school or simply strolling in the street talking and dreaming about Pokemon battle and their future journey. He often came by to keep her company during her mother's long absences. Marina is particularly teasing with Ethan but without the slightest malice, seeing him being embarrassed or trying to extricate himself from a delicate situation makes her laugh a lot. Pokémon
FeraligatrMarina met Feraligatr when he had just hatched from his egg in the professor Elm laboratory. They became friends quickly, and when Totodile was proposed as the first Pokemon to other trainers he refused, he had already chosen Marina has her trainer. He became his best Pokmeon and never quit her in her journey. He is a really kind and smiley Pokemon who like to gently bite his trainer arm and head. 
EspeonEspeon has almost the same character as Marina, she is kind and playful Pokemon, but face to stranger she can look like really serious. Marina met Espeon when she was an Eevee a little after she starts her journey. Espeon who was then an Eevee was stuck in an Ariados web, in front of this situation Marina has immediately helped her which was not to the taste of the Aridaos and Spinarak which attacked them, but Eevee and Marina fled quickly. After that Marina decided to just say goodbye to Eevee and let her go, but Eevee followed her discreetly during few days. One night Marina discovered the little Eevee sleep near to her camp fire, she recognized her and ask her if she wanted to become her Pokemon, to which she replied yes immediately. Espeon can stay in her pokeball, but she prefers to stay outside with her trainer. She never quit her team. 
SteelixDespite her imposing size and fierce air, Steelix is a very friendly and intelligent Pokemon. When she fights, she likes to analyze her opponents and use her attacks with caution. She likes to carry the little Pokemon on her head to show them the landscape from very high up. She can use mega evolution.Marina catches her when she was an Onix in the Union Cave, Croconaw and her were really intimidated by the size of Onix but also really impressed and they absolutely wanted to be friends with her! 
NinetalesMarina's Ninetales is particularly beautiful, even for a Ninetales, she is really graceful with sparkling golden fur. She is very cuddly and one of the things that she loves the most is to stay on her trainer's lap while she brushes her. 
SerperiorSerperior is a Pokemon that sticks to his appearance, it's a very proud and elegant Pokemon that can't stand being dirty. He tends to look down on other Pokemon and judge other Pokemon and human on their appearances. He is really calm and delicate Pokemon that like to remove the dust on the outfit of his trainer with his leafs, after all, a Pokemon of exceptional elegant must have a trainer at least at his level! 
CorviknightCorviknight is a really shy Pokemon outside fights, when he is face to an stranger he hides behind his trainer (which is useless content of his size) and hide his head in his feathers. When Marina meet him, he was just a little Rookidee chased by trackers who coveted him because of his silvery plumage. He was constantly hunted down by violent and cruel methods. Marina heard that story and tried to find him to protect him of those trackers. She found the little feather ball hurt and locked up by his assailants. See this little Pokemon in this state made furious the actual Johto region Champion who crushed the hunter group/ She decided to take care of the little bird who later became a huge and powerful Corviknight. StoryThe stormWhen she was young, Marina liked to play in the forest near New Bark Town. One day while she was playing with wild Pokemon she was surprised by a violent storm. She didn't have time to get home when lightning began to fall, one of them hit a tree under which she was passing, which caused it to catch fire. As the tree fell in the direction of the little girl, a huge Pokemon appeared and hit the tree, which saved her at the last moment. This huge Pokemon with yellow coat with black stripes was none other than the legendary Raikou, probably at the origin of this storm. The legendary beast who feared men saw that the human he had just saved was only a child petrified not by him but by the event that had just happened, he brought her back on his back to the edge of the forest before fleeing. He returned from time to time to play with her and the wild Pokemon before disappearing definitively when rumors concerning a criminal organization rampant more and more in the region began to circulate. Father's departureHer father left when she was still young, according to her mother he would have gone to a distant region to, in her words, create a better world for her family. But despite this explanation and the fact that she was very close to her father, Marina always thought deep down that he had left them because of her ability to understand Pokemon which make her too much different. The legendThe passion she has for legendary pokemon comes from her mother who told her all legends she knew. One particulary left its mark on her, the legend of the Brass Tower and the Bell Tower of Ecruteak City. The legend says that 700 years two towers were built in the city of Ecruteak City, the Brass Tower symbolizing the rest of the pokemons at the top of which was Lugia, and the Bell Tower symbolizing the birth of the pokemons at the top of which was Ho-Oh. But 150 years ago, when the region was a victim of war, a violent storm appeared on the city and a lightning fell violently on the Brass Tower which caught fire. The flames made flee away Lugia away from Rosalia and consumed three Pokemons trapped in the tower. After the saving rain puts out the flames Ho-Oh descended from the sky and resurrected the 3 Pokemons giving them divine powers. At the sight of these Pokemon who had overcome death, the humans took fright and violently chased the three beasts who fled, the heart filled with sadness, without defending themselves. It is said that the day when the hearts of the human Pokemon beat in unison, the Johto's legendary Pokemons will return to Ecruteak City. This legend resounded in Marina's heart who did not understand the reaction of humans. Since that day her goal to become a Pokemon master and that his relationship with Pokemons become an example to follow for humans so that they can live in harmony with them. AlolaAlola was the first region where Marina traveled without Ethan. After her accession to the head of the Johto's Elite Four they decided that it was best to continue their journey separately to improve their fighting skills on their own until their next meeting. Marina was sent by her mother to the Paldea region after she made researches on the Treasures of Ruin. She was sent there to remove the stakes supposed to keep captive an ancient Pokemon located in a shrine in the southwest of the region. These stakes cannot be removed by anyone without risk, they need to be removed by someone with a strong attachment to Pokemon and a sufficiently pure heart. Marina was extremely touched by the story of these 4 Pokemon created and locked up by human corruption. During this expedition she was followed by a team of researchers and trainers to ensure the smooth running of the project. After removing the 8 stakes, the team went to the sanctuary and released the imprisoned Pokemon. A Pokémon with a white coat sprinkled with crystals got out, Chien-Pao the Ruinous Pokémon seemed particularly furious. Marina then tried to get him to get her feelings through a fight that was extremely complicated but finally managed to capture him. She promised to the Pokémon to show him that all humans weren't so cruel as those he had met and to show him the landscapes he's been deprived of all this time. Just after this event his mother asked him to stay studying in the Naranja Academy in order to have access to documents and books reserved for students and teachers of the school. An unexpected request that Marina accepted reluctantly, the idea of going back to a different school to study things that she certainly already knew did not please her, but at least she might have the chance to meet Pokémon that she didn't know yet.She was accepted into the school in literary speciality and welcomed into the school by the delegate from the Nemona school with whom she quickly became friends. She became the center of attention of the school for a while, not only did she manage to enter the second year directly after she passed the entrance test, but above all she is a champion who impresses everyone during her fights. But his only objective was to start the Treasure Hunt and find her treasure, the 3 other legendary Pokémon. She also decided to accompany in his treasure hunt one of her classmates, Pepper, who became a very close friend. Trivia-Her adventure follow is roughly the history of games with some differences mix with the universe of anime. -Her necklace is a gift from her father, she never leaves it and she really loves it. -She always wears a different outfit depending on the region where she travels, except in Kanto and Johto where she was dressed the same way. -She had a very good ranking the two times she participated in the Pokémon World Coronation Series, she even managed to beat her aunt, but during these two participations she failed to beat Leon.
