You are Felis

"I'm... I am a-" you stutter under your breath as you think this through. Do you tell them the truth? It could lead to your death. Can they really see you? Do you have to answer? Is there any way to escape?
"I am human," you proclaimed forwardly, "but I am here by accident, please let me go. I won't come back, please." You lied and pled with them, hoping for your life that they could not see you. It seemed to be your only option.

Seeing your reaction, their eyes then softened immensely, "You are not human, and neither am I." The distortion in their voice began to wane, and the holographic screen expanded to show what they truly were.
"Fear runs in the family, doesn't it? It is embedded in your bones as well as mine, and it has been able to keep us alive." They were like you. A Felis; his frame was small, and his voice remained soft. "But please don't be afraid. This place is for you."

Behind the screen, a well-concealed, but wide door, would slowly open itself up to you.

"All we ask is that you cause no harm to us. I hope you can find peace here." The holographic screens fizzle and fade out. Then the wide, downwardly slanted corridor before you lights up in various colors. It is decorated with a number of neon fixtures, most of which do not match each other in style or shape. You hope you can trust it.
