Cristobal doesn't like sticking with just one thing. He loves aspect of many different types of riding, country, dressage, flat racing, eventing, and more! He's a bit spoiled and when he feels like he's gone as far as he can go, he moves onto the next interest. Even if he's done well all season and has qualified for the championships, if he finds a new interest, that's it. He switches over. Many think he's just unreliable, lazy, or a "free spirit" but perhaps there's something else going on they don't see?
Because his parents are rich and don't expect much of him anymore, he gets to do this without much consequence or recourse. However, he does not abandon his horses. He may let another person ride them as he trains a new horse up, but he always takes time for all of his babies.
Right now racing is his fixation, and he seems good at it. Who knows how long thise phase will last however.
