Bio

A kind-hearted lab that's adjusting to the city life.

Squid has a calm, friendly aura to him, making talking to him, despite his size, rather easy. He loves socializing and helping those in need, and very rarely gets angry or aggressive, trying to be more diplomatic if the situation allows. That being said, Squid has no issue defending himself if push comes to shove.

Backstory

Born to a small family out in the country, Samson's (Lovingly called Squid), life mainly consisted of helping his family at the ranch. Whether it was herding or bringing products to the market, he was always ready to lend a helping paw for his blood and his neighbors. As he got older, Squid felt unhappy with this way of life, he loved it, don't get him wrong, but it didn't feel like something he wanted to do as a career, so he saved up as much as he could and moved to the big city. The flashing lights and busy streets disoriented the then 18 year old, but he quickly found his bearings after a known tailor in the area offered to hire him. Squid immediately fell in love with the occupation, and to this day continues to study hard under his mentor. There are days where he misses the fresh country air and clear night skies, however, and he tries to keep in contact with his family often.

✔ STRENGTHS

✔ Country Muscle: Working on the ranch and eating good paid off towards Squid's endurance and strength. He's not superman, but he could pack a punch if he had to.

✔ Friendly and Diplomatic: Despite his size, Squid is a passive soul and that aura tends to radiate towards others. He's great at talking things out and lending an ear if needed.

✔ Mr. Handy: Whether its suits, cars or that pesky squeaky door, Squid loves to fix and patch up things ever since he could hold a needle or screwdriver. Though under his mentoring he has a better knack for patching up clothes or fabrics.

✔ Book Smarts: Education was a must in his household, so Squid is well-read. Not an academic genius but he has a bit more brains than your average folk.

✖ WEAKNESSES

✖ Fish Out of Water: Squid's still unfamiliar with the Big City, so it's actually quite easy for him to get lost in these types of settings

✖ Benefit of the Doubt: Unless you're some outright scum, Squid really does try to see the good in people, even after the culture shock of the city. He can be a bit too soft at times.

✖ Oblivious: Probably doesn't count as a weakness but this guy, despite his book smarts, can't pick up on flirting at all.

RELATIONSHIPS

ARTIST TIPS

• Both anthro and human form is tall and has an athletic build. Moving to the city doesn't keep Squid from working out every now and again
• Has vitiligo similar to his blue fur markings in human form (as seen in gift art in gallery). Hairstyle is not the same as in the gift art though, and is currently undecided, a simple fade might be the go-to for now
• Don't draw aggressive, he's a calm individual.
