Mono is overall a very simple, quiet fusion. Beyond their first time forming and after they've been trained properly, they act mostly confident despite their components, Alex cloaking himself in Ilse's lack of emotion to achieve this. They may occasionally talk aloud to themselves if alone or with someone who knows what they are, doing a lot of talking internally even when they aren't.

They're rarely used in missions, but when they are it's when both Alex and Ilse's skills are needed. This tends to come in the form of information gathering, where Ilse is needed to sneak Alex in so he can access what they need, but they may also need to fuse to avoid being identified in general.
