Percy

Percy is a soft-spoken writer fascinated by mysteries and the unknown. Ever since he was a child he seemed to have an uncanny ability to ignore and manipulate reality - not that he ever took notice. His family, on the other hand, did - and tried to protect and keep him safe. This 'ability' of his seemed to show itself in the stories he would make up as a child. Having a wild imagination, Percy loved to read and wanted to one day grow up to write his own stories. When he would write, or excitedly chatter ideas at his mother, sometimes - bits of the stories would spring into existence. If Percy was writing about a blizzard one would spring up over night - or if he described in detail a new flower one that matched its description would grow - typically in his mother's garden. This ability also seemed to open him up to random chance encounters with entities a mortal should have no business meeting.

The first most notable, was when he was around 19 years old. He wandered into a small privately owned shop that sold the most beautiful clocks he had ever laid eyes on. There, he met the owner - Klause, with whom he made a small deal to spend a week as the man's companion in exchange for a custom made clock that Percy planned on giving to his mother. A month later when he returned to see the clock maker again he was stunned to see that the shop was empty and all signs of the man were wiped clean.

The second most notable encounter happened much later in life after he finally settled down in a small town. One night when he was coming home with groceries he was attacked, mugged, and left to bleed out in the alley right across the street from his apartment. He would have died that night if it were not for a strange woman with silver eyes who decided that she would save him.
