History:

Idrena was born in a small town in Ontario, Canada, to a single mother after her father had disappeared under unknown circumstances. Upon learning that she was marked, her mother took her kitten to a nearby town and left her, purely out of the fear for the safety of the rest of her family. She was eventually found by a wandering caravan of lions who had stopped into the town, and was taken in. The road is where she spent a majority of her formative years, considering the pride as much of a family as she could get. They taught her how to fight, how to survive on the road, and how to rely on herself if the need should ever arise. 

She left the caravan when she was around 18 years old to live on her own. The next year or so was spent in Canada’s bush, hunting and living for herself. Idrena had never intended becoming part of the resistance, preferring to spend her life in the woods where nobody could find her, but conflict pulled her in.
Under Beat, she proved to be a force of nature against Specter and his robotic armies, and over time, grew attached to the Resistance and its members [though she may not have verbally admitted it].

She had been contemplating returning to the wilds after the Resistance slowly began to break up, until Beat’s sudden death. Shocked and angry, Idrena remained in the group upon the revelation that the fight was far from over, and the most difficult part of their battle had only just begun. Recruiting and training new members became her primary job.

Personality: 

Idrena is fiery-tempered, quick to anger, with a bark just as worse as her bite and a will that could crumble mountains. Fiercely both determined and loyal, she will go at great lengths to protect what she holds dearest. She’s very expressive on stronger emotions, such as anger or passion, but may be hesitant to show any sort of vulnerability with the fear of appearing weak. Somewhat withdrawn, she prefers solitude, but has no qualms with working for a team in order to accomplish large tasks. She is a bit headstrong, often charging into a problem with no second thought or consideration. On the battlefield, she is a raging fire, scorching and hitting the opponent with everything she has. However, in more tender [albeit rare] settings, she is a warm kindle- kind and gentle, if a bit aloof. Very few people get to see this side of her.
