Cotton means well, but they're usually pretty oblivious to the world around them. They have a hard time seeing the problems that others are going through. This gets them into trouble quite a bit, usually causing arguments between them and their pack mates. They're quite scary, too, with their massive build and stern attitude. That said, once Cotton realizes that someone is having a problem, they're quite good at dealing with things. Their scary demeanour frightens most problems away.
