Nellcher was born in the Sinnoh region, raised by her parents Elodie Tulip and Laurel Espinoza in Floaroma Town.
After having an altercation with her grandmother, Ivanna Tulip, her parents decided to move to Laurel's home region for the next few years until they got a job opportunity that led them to move to the Kalos region. Nellcher saw this as an opportunity to learn about kalosian desserts and to cultivate her baking skills by learning from experienced pâtissiers among the region.
In a way to pay for her workshops she landed a job as a barista at the Flame Body Café while also having the chance to volunteer at a Day Care on weekends, then having time to make and sell desserts by request from specific clients. She's a busy woman.
While living in Kalos she met Professor Sycamore. With time, she became friends with him until after several months later both realized that the feelings were mutual, which then later bloomed into a relationship. And in the blink of an eye, both got engaged and married after a few years of relationship.
Years in the future, Nellcher becomes a mother of three children and an expert pâtissière with a shop of her own. From time to time she still lends a hand at the café.
