"The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth", a proverb that rings true even into royalty. But in poor Malachs case, he never even had the chance to feel the warmth of the destruction of his kingdom. Lost to die on a floor as cold as he felt bitter.

Though he was not dead for long, waking up to a new crystalised abilities, he has already set his sights upon reclaiming the castle taken by the monster he released to slaughter his family.

The Royal Family tradition means the youngest child will be showered in gifts and love, and will be set to rule the moment they are old enough to do so to ensure the longest possible rule for the kingdom. The eldest usually become leaders of the army. Malachs mother was incredible weak before they had even realised Malach was conceived, and so the King married another women in the hopes of her bearing a healthy child. Eventually, the two Queens becamse closer upon realising they were both due to bear children.

As expected, Malach was born a sickly child, taking after his mother who passed during the birth. Unsure of if he would survive, he went unannounced and was left to the nurses while the kingdom prepared for the birth of their new ruler. Only a week later was Malachs younger sibling born, and as per tradition they were showered in love, gifts and care. As they both got older, things only got tougher for Malach while his younger sibling was prepared to rule. This made him bitter.

CHILDHOOD

Malach was still incredibly weak, even into the beginning of his teenage years. This resulted in bullying from his older siblings, mentors and even servants. Even his own father picked at his weakness. It wasn't until he was an older teenager that he began to gain strength. Malach was forgotten about very often, he wasn't treated as a part of the family in some instances. He was kept at a distance for being too weak to join his older siblings in training, and just not young enough to rule the land. He was even told he should give up and just be the servant to his younger brother. He was even blamed for his younger mothers death, claiming that his sickly body plagued her. At the time, he was only 7.

Adulthood

Malach swore revenge upon his family, planning to let a monster within the castles prisons loose as he knew it would hunt everyone, and he could survive. However, this plan backfired which when he was chased out of the castle by the same monster. He thought that he could just lock it back up again, but this was physically impossible. Knowing he couldn't return to the castle, he wandered off into the woods. Eventually, on a cold night, his poor sickly body couldn't handle the extreme weather, resulting in Malach succumbing to the cold.

From this point, his memories are fuzzy. He isn't sure how he came back to life, but had noticed a strange crystal growth upon his face. In a panic he tore it off, and bled for several hours. But he didn't die. With new found abilities to shape crystals around him, or on his body, Malach returned to the castle to take back what rightfully should have been his since his conception.

Malach has developed a strange ability to manipulate a type of crystal that seemed to have been growing upon his body like a fungus when he passed. He isn't sure if it gave him life, but it seems like they have a symbiotic relationship. He doesn't mind it,but it did cost him his eye and a portion of his skin.
