After the whole situation with the orphanage, mainly by abandoning Doven and Adaline in Elisora, 2-3 years into traveling around to help out in cities that would be closest in her path, Lovely had met Octavia in those 2-3 years when she was traveling around while Octavia was just roaming around finding where either trouble finds her or she finds it. The two of them met through a small problem which Octavia had caused as she attempted to basically sneak her way through pickpocketing strangers wherever she walked (pretty much any gold/silver she can use as expenses) for herself from those as she occasionally had to for herself, she managed to get enough for herself before having to make a break for it as she couldn’t lie or make a proper way out without being seen by people and so a lot happens as she running down streets, doing her best to move around the streets since the person she was being chased bylooked pretty keen on hurting her once she was caught, and unfortunately for her, she did end up getting caught and she did NOT have a great time when she was. However, on the more fortunate side of things though, Lovely was around when she saw Octavia injured, limping around trying to hide in the depths of a alleyway to try to patch herself up from before just jumping at the sound footsteps coming towards her before Lovely straight up just lays her intentions of purely wanting to help her and make sure she’s doing okay, despite Octavia being very on edge and sketched out by it since that’s how she’s lived most of her time down here but after just a moment of taking it steady and testing the waters out, she let herself be tended to and for once she felt safe before being helped up to her feet.
After that the whole ordeal and tending to her wounds, she ends up taking Octavia to a inn where she at the time stayed in at the time of traveling, just making sure she’s okay throughout the night where they hit things off by chatting with each other and learning a bit about each other. Following days, the two ended up learning more about each other, getting comfortable with being around each other and eventually traveling alongside each other, it was a bit awkward since they had the opposites of the other’s personalities so it was a bit odd when they did things together but as more of the time flew by, the more easier it was for their energies to mesh well together in understanding of the other, it took more or so around a year and a half for them to be in a comfortable sure position of their travels to actually confirm their feelings for each other before making it official between each other but once that they did, they really did seem like a perfect duo that knew how the world worked against them in certain circumstances but they knew with each other, they could help each other maybe gain some peace before it breaks apart even more. They understood how their beliefs were different to each other, one believed in the possible helping to the people while the other believed the people were just lost causes, while Lovely believed in her own thing, she knew too and knew with Octavia’s words were right to a extent but so were her own, so the lack of faith lingered in both of them but they would encourage each as one’s dream would become the other’s. Throughout their journey, Lovely did eventually open up about her regrets and sorrows about the whole situation with the children which in return Octavia was blunt and honest as she hated to sugarcoat things and simply get to it despite how hard it would be to hear it, she laid it out for her to understand that forgiveness will not nor will it ever be something easy to get especially with a situation like that as she held more fault in her actions, leaving them was not the only option there but to her it might have been because of the heightened emotions of panic and fear of cruelty to another but doing that to another by leaving them alone as well when they needed her too wasn’t the best of choices but she does have hope in her to get them back or just try to. Octavia ends up also opening up about the fact she doesn’t exactly have the cleanest nor kindest actions that could be mentioned in her past as well, she’s hurt people for her own gain and she used to be almost like Lovely a while ago too before sticking to more selfish ideals and actions for herself. Both of them do their best to be the anchor for the other, especially Lovely for Octavia since Octavia slightly grew to be a bit more weary and uneasy on their journey especially when using their magic, unsure what’s happening with themselves. Octavia hadn’t also been too honest with the other due to fear of her losing trust or any sort of care from her, all Octavia is currently withholding is the her attempt to try to plead and partake in some sort of ritual (result in the part fo her being a fallen aasimar) she found in some book she ended up trying out because of her past greed for power before moving beyond it or so thinking she did but she doesn’t nor would she know, she left it behind and did her best to hide it so no one else would find it and make the same mistake as her.
With spending a few more years (around 4 more years) with each other, they decide it would do them well to separate for a while to finish any unfinished business that the other has, especially Lovely since she wanted to keep going with finding the kids, while Octavia sorts out whatever she needs to. They make a promise with each other with the rings they have, the gist of it was that when they both find each other and meet again, they would try to settle down and live a peaceful life with each other.
