From the moment she gained conciousness, Kassidy knew something was wrong with her.

Weavers are said to see into the future. But every time she tried to predict something, she saw glimpses of what it had been instead of what could be. She tried her best to calibrate her predictions, but they would end up contaminated by the past.

The yearwalk was unconventional as well, as her relic found her and not viceversa. The future decided to mingle with the distant memory, showing her the events that would lead to her being reunited with the thing she felt whispering into her eyes whenever Kassidy attempted to see into the past.
