Jesper’s parents fled from Haiti to avoid this conversion when he was 5 years old. Settling in the town centre in a small townhouse and setting up a store for Voodoo followers with charm. As Jesper got older he began to read his grandmother’s spellbooks of not just voodoo but hoodoo. Told off a few times for delving into the darker side of voodoo and hoodoo the teenager was just more curious. He wanted to redeem his family’s honour and title so he contacted the spirits using dark magic to summon a dark force to obtain the ability to become others. The ring on his pinky finger is the emerald eye of Maman Brigitte which was a blessing to turn into anyone. On one condition, Jesper must be a servant to the Goddess of Death. Maman was a sweet and gentle Goddess but she would not be one to cross paths. If you upset her you bring upon you her husband’s punishment. Samedi her husband would not like the idea of his wife being hurt in any form. Although Samedi did tell Jesper that when she is around you do not talk about any other woman…only HER. (That did not stop him from sleeping around when she was not looking) Over the years nobody knew who was behind the disappearances of the people or the British people’s murders in the town. For almost 20 years the people called it the actions of the Voodoo Queen, Bloody Mary. Little did they know it was the infamous Voodoo Witch Doctor they all grew accustomed too. Jesper was well known for his readings, fortune tellings and seances to speak to passed loved one. He wanted to rid the town of all the evil and make it his domain. Once caught he was hung at the gallows for his crimes. Upon arrival in Hell, Jesper was in purgatory for some time as they did not wish to envoke the anger for the Death Goddess, God or the Queen of Voodoo. They fought for almost a decade before coming to an agreement that Jesper will reside in Hell, Pentagram City to live out his servitude to all 3 of the Voodoo Deities he worshipped. ──────── • ✿ • ────────
