Victor is a modified chao who Maryell was gifted, by Eldio, to calm her down and also catch her attention on other things so she doesn't stay up four days in a row working on one project. Victor wants her attention a lot so she often has him near her a lot of the time, he's been modified by her a few times, but he doesn't seem to have minded any of it and is happily staying around her, loving the doctor more than anything.
