Cyril

Cyril is an honorary archangel who resides with his husband, Adriel, at the peak of their realm.

He's a fantastic mathematician, bowman and astrologer. In fact, he's a very busy and elusive angel, as he works to maintain the harmony of newborn stars. Additionally, he's the head archer and educator for his partner's sect of Heaven's army.

He speaks very little of his days as a human, as it was very tedious and mostly forgotten in the birth of a new life. He was a philosopher, stargazer, devout disciple and primeval scientist.
In life, he believed that Pagan sacrifices and barbaric ways of settling disputes was wrong, and in the process of saving another person, spoke the teachings of Christ while somewhat-willfully taking their place in the sacrificial ritual.
During this time, he was an early scry who had discovered ancient tomes that detailed how to contact angels. He spoke on-and-off with a mysterious archangel, who had some interest in humans at the time. Despite being thrown in jail, humiliated and losing quite a bit of his work in life, said archangel's words soothed him until death.
His tomes were lost to the earth long ago.

After arriving to Heaven, he was made an honorary archangel for being an early Saint and was given one two requests to be undeniably granted. He had only one, which was to meet the angel who spoke to him in life.
After meeting him, the two became infatuated with one another over time. This was difficult and painful, because such a relationship was seen as taboo. Together, they swayed God's opinion after the two made star-guided predictions which saved him from a possible death attempted by Adriel's brother, proving that they made a truly divine team.

His home is something of awe, a massive intricately sectioned garden of lush greenery, statues depicting human and angel wonderment alike, shallow pools of water and different structures under pillars. His main residence is a Corinthian-like palace topped by a heavenly observatory.
