Despite being born in the middle of the war and having Megatron and Starscream as parents, Windy is a very open-minded, friendly guy. His outlook on life is positive and humorous, to the point that he has a hard time taking things seriously sometimes.

He's often up to mischief with his twin brother Gustfront, and growing up they were thick as thieves. They have an ability to combine into one form, Shearfront, in which they share a body but keep their own identities.

Windy is very sociable and fun to hang out with. He enjoyes videogames, movies and music, and dreams of a career in show business. He has a sparkmate, Cinderclaw, with whom he's planning to start a family.
