Eri

Gourveon is a dual-type Fairy/Ghost Pokémon.

It evolves from Sylveon when its heart gets broken. It is one of Eevee's final forms, the others being Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon.

Biology

Gourveon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon covered with pale cream-colored fur with pink feet, ears and tail. Its ears are long and have thicker fur and purple tips. It has yellow-orange triangular eyes and purple eyelids, a tiny nose and bangs that usually cover one eye. On top of its head is a crescent-shaped tuft that is purple on top. It has purple paw pads on each of its paws. On its neck is a pink bow with purpler center and a pair of ribbon-like feelers. The feelers are pale cream with single pink stripes followed by purple tips. Gourveon uses its ears and feelers to pick up objects and examine its surroundings.

Gourveon tends to keep to itself after its heart has been broken, usually by its previous trainer but sometimes by other Pokémon. It wanders alone and avoids any reflective surfaces, as they will not show its physical appearance, but instead dim scars in wherever it's ever gotten injured during its life. Gourveon responds positively to kind behavior, but shows mistrust and uncertainty due to its past trauma. It avoids conflict and will do everything in its power to flee, and it will only fight if its life is threatened. It is said that if someone manages to heal Gourveon's heartbreak, it will reward them with its undying loyalty and do anything for them.

Eri

It is unclear what exactly caused Eri to evolve into a Gourveon. She used to be kind and gentle, but she found herself growing more tired and bitter as she encountered Pokémon and people who, one after another, took advantage of her kindness. One morning Eri woke up and realized that she had changed, and she hurried to look at herself from a nearby lake. However, all she could see were dim scars floating in the air, and as she moved and the scars followed her movement, she realized that they were her scars. After that she has avoided looking at anything that could reflect her invisible scars. She's also been unable to sleep after she evolved and received her new Ability, Insomnia.

• Eri's eyeglasses don't have lenses on them. Her eyesight has gotten better after she evolved, but she keeps using them as a reminder of her old self.
• Eri can be found wandering around libraries, graveyards and other quiet places.
• For some reason, Halloween excites Eri greatly and it's the only season when she seems to forget about her heartache completely.
