When sunlight was returned to the residents of Flower Fields after Bowser's forces had stolen it from them, it was realized that in the event of such travesty happening again, they would need someone not bound by roots or stem to aid in their plight. And so, together, the inhabitants of this small realm prayed to the Star Spirits, who in turn blessed the residents of Flower Fields with a princess of their own.

Like most other princesses, Myrtle was born from the power of the Star Spirits and the power of wishes; her life began as a seed planted within the lush Flower Fields, a realm hidden between worlds.
