Koji Suzuki

A pragmatic and exasperated workaholic with a knack for electronics. He rarely shows any emotions besides disinterest and disdain on the outside, but he's surprisingly protective of his colleagues - not that he'd admit it. Comes across as distant at first due to his cool attitude, but his thoughtful nature never stays hidden for long. He's a phenomenal programmer and hacker, often helping the Agency solve cases by obtaining and relaying sensitive information - somewhat of a replacement for Tayama. Very tidy and hygeinic. His upbringing was as normal as it gets, but don't ask him about his college years...

Ability: Ring. The user can use any electronic screens for transportation. By converting physical matter into data, he can enter through a screen and instantly travel to another device like information on the internet. He can also use his ability to transport other people and objects to a device of his choosing. This ability works on any device with a display screen, including computer monitors, cell phones, televisions, security cameras, and any "smart" device.

Koji is a small, effiminate man who carries himself as professionally as he can. He takes great care in his personal appearance and always makes sure he is well-dressed and groomed. His hair is grey and ends just past the nape of his neck. Two longer strands frame both sides of his face, and are curly whereas the rest of his hair is straight. The lefthand strand is cyan. He errs towards business appropriate to formal dress, and prefers tight, form-fitting clothes. Particularly likes turtlenecks and scarves. His eyes are brown-to-cyan in color, and they are rolled frequently.

Koji had a "painfully normal" upbringing, as he describes it. His parents were both office workers in Yokohama, and they raised him and his younger sister without major issue. He excelled in school despite his lack of friends, but his early life went smoothly and unremarkably. Between his studies and family life, Koji was nearly always on his computer or his phone. He kept his ability quiet when he discovered it, but began using it to access sensitive information of anyone he felt bitter towards. When he graduated from high school, he immediately enrolled in a nearby university to pursue a Computer Science degree. He graduated on time and with honors, but stayed busy between classes. Not only would Koji continue to develop his coding and hacking skills traditionally and through his ability, but he would also explore a different interest at his side job where he starred in hardcore "adult videos." He absolutely refuses to talk about this now. His "stage name" was Sadako-chan, and he had quite a following.

Eventually, Koji began utilizing his knowledge and his special ability to make a living. He marketed his skills to businesses looking for someone to help reinforce their security and financial systems online as well as standard troubleshooting jobs. He made the bulk of his money under the table, however -- breaching security systems to retrieve information, forging and altering records, inflicting viruses, leaking sensitive data, and many other high-stakes, illegal services brought him the most success. He lived comfortably during this time, and his clientele-base of the most rich, powerful, and corrupt businessmen and crime bosses grew just as his notoriety did. The risk was always high, but he was cunning. And so it went on for a few years - until he got cocky and was kidnapped by one of the formidable organizations he'd stolen from - the Port Mafia. He was tortured for information and only narrowly avoided his own assassination thanks to his ability, unknown to the Mafia at the time. After the harrowing experience, Koji moved and buckled down, getting a standard office job and realigning his life. He swore off illegal activities and hacking as a whole as to not be re-captured.

Some time later, he was approached by a member of the Armed Detective Agency who caught wind of his previous work. Having lost their previous hacker and informant, Tayama, they were struggling with a case and turned to Koji with a job offer. As expert detectives, they knew about his history with the Mafia and used this as leverage to "convince" him with the threat of turning him over. Though he pretended to begrudgingly accept, he was more than happy to take the job - the dull, average life without trouble was painfully boring, and the Agency sounded like the perfect place to continue using his abilities without risk of getting axed by the Mafia.

• Koji is almost obsessively clean with both his surroundings and his personal hygeine. He gets waxed and is completely hairless from the neck down.
• The front of his neck is particularly "sensitive"... he covers it when he can, desperately hoping that fact stays unknown.
