* part of an AU where instead of basil witnessing the fight the night before the recital, it's Hero that sees it, and he catches mari when sunny pushes her down the stairs
* they grow up, get married, and have a daughter, nina!
* omori still exists in this AU, but he holds less power considering that mari isn't dead and sunny Goes To Therapy Here, but he still has Habits because of the nature of his being. headspace also still exists, it just sort of grows up with sunny as he gets older and continues to Exist
* naturally, the first time nina appears in headspace, omori goes WHAT THE HELL IS THIS WHY ARE YOU HERE PLEASE LEAVE
* omori is also an imaginary friend of nina's! this is fun when mari catches her daughter drawing her brother in a tank top and looking Done With Life
* about 90% of the au consists of sunny trying to convince omori this Baby will not hurt him or sunny and omori all but holding the cross up to her
* sunny is also still wary around the baby. he does not want to hurt the baby. especially around stairs. me too sunny. but omori is just like you are going to kill me arent you
* there is one entire incident where mari stumbles on the stairs and Drops Nina but sunny is able to catch her at the bottom of the stairs and he just kinda bursts into tears. and then mari hugs him. and then baby starts crying. and then hero runs in like WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHY IS EVERYONE UPSET ;;;;
