Gecko is a chatty, bubbly, and ethisiastic tom. He enjoys talking about his stories, even if he runs out he'll make up some tales to tell. Gecko was once a kittypet, beloved to his human, but once they grew up and moved out Gecko was left behind, which made Gecko leave. After a while he has gotten over his past and now he just wants to make permanent friends.
Gecko befriended a kittypet, Sap, and a loner, Foxhaze. They always chatted on top of roofs and fences, and share food. Later, the TIG cat travelers met up with them and he decided to tag along, but quickly changed his mind after a fight happened and having to eat live animals. When Gecko returned home, he read on his home that the house was for sale - concluding that his humans had left. Gecko was distraught.
After learning he is now alone, Gecko decided to go after the TIG cats. He knows Sap, now Sapswoop, and Foxhaze would help him live Clan life snd routines. During his journey to the island, he had acquainted a kit and a friend, who later may mean more to him...
Gecko has a small dream of having a family of his own, but he keeps that private until he knows he has found the perfect mate.

- When he left his twoleg home, Gecko took his favorite toy with him, which is a stuffed lizard, in who he names "lizzy"
- Gecko retells the story his human once told him in memory of his kittypet life
