As a younger man, Michael was far more serious and brash in terms of his attitude, taking his work both as a servant of God and as an exorcist with intense diligence and passion. He fully believed it was his duty to protect the Cathedral he was stationed at, as well as ordinary citizens, followers of Christ or not. Although his passion was admired greatly by his peers and those he aided, it often landed him more trouble than he intended.
