Story
Origin
Stian was born and raised in the city of Bergen, Norway. For most of his life he lived in Fjellet Sør, the neighborhood where his parents decided to extend the family, until he moved to Engen after some time, with the intention of escaping the family's sight and also being closer to the university.
Despite wanting to, he never left Bergen for lack of better conditions to move to another city, as well as the courage to leave friends and other important things behind.
Family
Stian came from a slightly wealthy family. The youngest of three children, he always had everything he needed, as did his brothers Símen and Thomas. His childhood was unfortunately based on fulfilling Hedda's expectations and trying to follow the family's ambitions, which made him stray too far from the path she sought for him. At the same time, he was absolved of responsibilities by his father, Svein, who was always a soft-hearted.
Over time, his parents became more and more distant from each other. With the marriage sinking and the lack of love becoming evident, his father ended up becoming romantically involved with another woman, which finally triggered the divorce. Currently, Svein lives with the woman who was once his mistress and their son, Espen.
His relationship with most of his family is a bit complicated. He and his older brother Símen almost never got along, constantly fighting when they meet. Stian considers him the "almost perfect copy" of their mother. On the other hand, he has a more respectful and stable relationship with Thomas, although they also argue sometimes. Hedda considers him almost a failure, in addition to despising him because of his sexual orientation. Svein is more relaxed and friendly, although not as welcoming about the gay part either. He's the only one of the brothers who accepts and gets along with Espen.
Work
Stian works as a barista at a local coffee shop as he struggles to divide his time between work and economics school. For a while, he worked at other things, like car repair and babysitting in order to get money to move out of his aunt's house. He was also a clerk at her store.
