Absolution

She was the angel who eased humans into death by natural causes until she became addicted to the feeling of ending lives, due to her impurity she was cast down from heaven to hell and the demons - recognising her angelic glow - tore her to shreds, dismembering her and torturing her in many ways which got her the scars and made her lose her eye

Since angels heal rather well and rather quickly she managed to recover but the blood covering her entire body dried up and stuck to her for years, making her once curly hair straight and slicked with blood

She now fully indulges her urges and inflicts evil upon humanity without holding back. Her favourite method is through pushing humans' minds to commit acts such as wrongful death penalty (To the point that in hell she is known as Death by Law incarnate!) She does miss her heaven bound days albeit still holds a great grudge against all holy entities
