23 year old cleric figure that had to grow up too fast. After his parents abandoned him with his newborn sister and reality hit him, Vince took her and walked to the local orphanage, begging to be let in. That orphanage was tied to the church and as such only accepted kids of soldiers and patrons, but a seven year old bawling his eyes out with a screaming baby in his arms must've been enough of a reason to open an exception.
Became the youngest priest there at 13 after stuff happened that made him go postal to protect the other kids. After ten years of being stretched thin for the sake of others, making sure his sister was fine, being relentlessly bullied by his colleagues because "he was too young to be a father", shielding the other orphans from everything else that was going on in a region threatened by war day and night, it's fair to say the guy's turned into an ummovable wall. Extremely tired, burnt out and on the verge of cracking, but still a pillar protecting others around him.
Despite life using him as a mop to wipe the floor, he keeps being a sweetheart and always has others' interests in mind. Very thoughtful and caring. Is used to giving and never asking anything in return.
Has one of the so called New Age conditions aka magic-specific diseases. To his luck it's one of the most common and non-lethal ones, but that's it for the good news. No one knows what's the cause and the current medical treatment advice is to "lay down and wait it out when the symptoms become too much". Didn't suffer from it at first, but one traumatic event after the other as a kid triggered it. Has been managing it since then.
Copes with trauma through his faith and can come off as that preachy religious friend who can't shut up, but means no harm and backs off immediately after you tell him off.
Feels cursed by his magic nature and swore to never use it again (but does anyway). Extremely powerful, more than he's ever willing to admit.
Mostly serious and keeps to himself, but a Dad Humor shines through once a blue moon that makes everyone cringe into oblivion.

A soft-spoken dude who firmly believes there's good in everyone despite not seeing it in himself.
Is aware of how he's perceived by others — a harmless priest, incapable of any evil — and uses it to his advantage whenever he needs, which isn't often but still too much for him.
Low self esteem and complex with his own masculinity. He often received ugly and weird stares from both men and women. While he'd learned to ignore them, he wondered why people had to go out of their way to make his life miserable. Staring was the lesser of evils.
Very paternal. Considers all orphans his children and would die for them.
Has some trouble standing up for himself, but goes berserk for others.
Severe abandonment issues.
Polite speech and rarely swears.

Tom • Romantic partner
Local priest's younger sister amongst others is kidnapped by group known to be aggressive and completely unhinged. He knew that waiting for authorities to do something was pretty much sentencing her to death, so he managed to get a hold of the Vulture, a mercenary whose loyalty depended solely on the highest bid, known to be as aggressive and unhinged as his sister's kidnappers, if not more. He hired Tom to bring his sister back, no matter what.
Life happened and these two grew close during this time (guys, focus on the kidnapped child, please). Honestly speaking, Vince would've never looked at them differently under normal circumstances, but something happened that shook him to his core. Hurt/comfort vibes for days.
Theodore • First love
Theodore was so strong and kind, but above all he was just so... bright. A star that burned through its core in an instant, sharing his light with all nearby galaxies until exploding in a supernova. He took away everything with him."

Design Notes
- Amab
- Has a conventionally pretty face and slim figure.
- Beauty mark near his bottom lip, left side.
- Likes his hair long and goes out of his way to keep it like this, but it's the first thing to go whenever he gets frustrated with his appearance.
- The sidecut in the right side of the head is standard practice for all church ordenated members who wish to keep their hair, regardless of gender or age.
- The collar and earring are part of the religious attire.
- Bland fashion sense.
Trivia
- His first love went on a mission never to be seen again. Vince still hasn't forgiven himself for the last time they saw each other.
- Has a personal garden made of cactus and other low maintenance flowers. He wanted to grow forget-me-nots, but can't bring himself to.
- Grew up in the orphanage. Was a very sickly child due to his medical condition and had to spend days to no end bedridden.
- His little sister is the only blood-related family member he had left, at least that he was aware of. No other relatives ever came to visit/adopt them in the orphanage, so he doubted there was any, and if there was, God forgive him, but he wished them a slow and painful death.
- Extremely shy and reserved when it comes to intimacy.
Tom's House
Located in the Underground, a special area heavily concealed by magic and guarded 24/7, it's one of the safest and most dangerous places to be. There lived only the high profile criminals who could afford the absurd amount to buy a centimeter of land. One could think this meant utter chaos and bloodbath, but as long as you didn't stand in your neighbor's way, they didn't stand in yours either. Her house is definitely more modest compared to the multi millionaire mansions
Local Church
Vincent's workplace and where he spends most of his time at.
Church's Orchard
Massive portion of land with all variety of trees, responsible for the main income of the church. Semi open to the public (church members can invite outsiders to help harvest the fruits).
Vincent's Garden
A borrowed slice of church grounds (more specifically in the orphanage area) that he uses to cultivate some plants. It's therapeutic for him and he makes it into a safe space to help children who are struggling.
