He's the unofficial leader of the system of Iterators. He was especially close to his creators, and was really distraught when they finally went on their pilgrimage to ascend. He's fine now, as he's recovered from the loss (read as: he's not fine, he's somewhat in denial </3). Gem works very hard at his job, so he can find a way to ascend himself and be with his creators again! He collects a lot of pearls and, when he's not working, spends a lot of time on his overseers.
