traits: Heartless One used to be a young man filled with ego who only cared if a girl was hot or not, but after a chance meeting with the abuse victim, Lily, and after bringing her home and everything they've been through, he started to change. He's nowhere near as egotistical and he sees so much more than just physical appearance now. Like when he was a young boy, he's smart and a fast learner. Unlike his name suggests, he does have a heart and cares deeply for those he grows close to, or for anyone who is suffering.

history He was born with a slight cold, which went away in a few weeks and he was back to perfect health before long. His mother, Foxglove, abandoned him when he was nothing more than a child because his father died and she couldn't handle the death of her mate. So, Heartless One was raised by his older sister, Lady Fantasma. They formed a strong bond and, when she left because she couldn't be in the same place her mother had abandoned them at, Heartless was distraught. He became the lead stallion and promised himself that if he ever saw his mother again, he would let her know exactly how he felt. Eventually, Fan came back to live with him, though she was prone to wandering around on her own as well. One time when she left, she was raped by Forty Six & Two (Kal) and Heartless One vowed to make the hellion pay for hurting his sister. A short while later, Heartless met a mare by the name of Lily (Indi). They spoke briefly and Heartless invited her to come live with him and his family in Ever Clear but she kindly declined and the two parted ways. Months later, Heartless found Lily (Indi) again in Kular Valley and what he saw broke his heart. She was skin and bones, standing guard over a stillborn child, delusional, thinking that the babe was still alive. It took much convincing but he managed to get her semi back in reality and took her home to Ever Clear, promising never to let anything bad happen to her. He started getting her healthy again, in body and mind, and the two agreed to try and have a child together. It was his first time and he was afraid he would frighten or hurt her but all went well and everything seemed like it was going to be perfect... until Lily got stolen by the Helkaer Contagious (Toxic; Ashy). Heartless was outraged and felt his heart break. He felt more guilt than he had ever experienced in his three years of living. He became determined to make Contagious (Toxic; Ashy) pay for what he had done and pledged to go to war against the Helkaer brute. However, on the night that Heartless had been about to go challenge for Lily (Indi), he was shocked to find her in Ever Clear, along with a small colt, Briar (Ashy), and an angel. But not just any angel. His own grandmother, Rasa! Rasa told him that Lily (Indi) was pregnant with twins and that one of them belonged to him and the other belonged to Contagious (Toxic; Ashy).

Hearty eventually found out that Contagious' real name was Toxic (Ashy). Around that time, he went to Mount Vigilum to seek out help to fight against the Helkaer that had harmed his friend. There, he met Native Dancer (Indi) and her two daughters, Dynasty (Indi) and Natalia (Indi). He explained what had happened, being careful never to use frightening language around the young twins who were already nervous to begin with, and Nati (Indi) was all too willing to come speak to Lily (Indi) and see if she could help. The quartet then went to Hearty's home in Ever Clear, since Nati (Indi) had some time. Thread.

Natalia: Native Dancer's daughter. Dynasty's twin. He invited them to Ever Clear so the twins could befriend Dragula.
Native Dancer: He met Nati when he went to the Vigilum for help when Lily was raped by Toxic. She agreed to help him. He respects the woman and would be confident asking her for help again, if needed, and also offering help if she needed it.
Rasa: His maternal grandmother and the Lady of Utopia. He was wary of her at first but had grown to trust her and even love her after all that she had helped him with.
Toxic: The former Helkaer who stole and raped Lily. The father of Leifr's twin. Hearty planned on going to war against Toxic, but it never happened because he had too much on his plate with helping Lily recover.
