Astéris

NOTE: this is my fan character set in the League of Legends universe.

Backstory (WIP)

Before her exile, Astéris was a celestial being that resided in Targon Prime. She assisted the gods and other celestials in the city with spirits crafted from the stars; the spirits, commanded by her, acted as helping hands in any way as seen fit. With a connection to the constellations, she was able to channel the powers of the Aspects into her spirits, and create those with the basic power and concept of an Aspect. Because of this ability, she was a well-known face, having helped almost everyone living in the celestial city.

As the centuries went by, Astéris watched how the gods and Aspects treated mortalkind. Some were merciful and caring, but most didn't care about Runeterra or its inhabitants. Mortals were considered inferior and irrelevant. Astéris grew more and more appalled that the entities with ultimate power over mortals would regularly dismiss their worth and even wreak havoc upon them. She began voicing her opinion on their actions, despite being a lesser celestial. She was promptly reprimanded to know her place and to never judge their work.

For awhile, she kept quiet, until she witnessed a god prepare to wipe out an entire Ionian village. She summoned stellar spirits based on the Aspect of War to stop the god with force. Now that she had directly interfered with a god's work, she was brought before a celestial Order to determine her fate. Instead of simply obliterating her, the majority decided to cast her down from divinity to live as a petty mortal on Runeterra, as they deemed it a worse punishment.

She landed in a field on Targon, now a fallen celestial. She retained her stellar power and a body strong enough to withstand it.
