Backstory

Prior to the Events of Arc 1: Hatfield grew up lower middle class and average. She spend her childhood leading her more affluent cousin Lain around like mother hen. Hatfield finished High School, tried to apply to the military and failed. She tried to become a Government agent next and yet again failed. While crestfallen and intoxicated one night while skulking around Rowden she found Dazzle. Thinking she'd finally gone insane, Hatfield chatted up the also intoxicated animal. Dazzle told her about the Wonders and his need to for an agent in the town's police department. Hatfield jumped at this opportunity and swore loyalty to the Wonders. She joined Rowden's Police department and proceeded to cover up crimes on behalf of the Wonders and Rudolph's forces.

Arc 1: Hatfield finds McCoy at the office and is shocked to find out he has a blessing. She convinces him to reveal his power to her before ditching him to warn Rudolph. She reappears at the end of the Arc with her ally Cindy to save Konrad after his loss to the Students and McCoy.

Arc 3: Hatfield is invited by Dazzle to the villain summit. She dramatically enters and claims to be able to dispatch Nial and Lain easily. She quickly drew the ire of Missy, Zackariah and Nathaniel for her callouseness, but Rudolph accepted her after Dazzle's tepid endorsement. She is annoyed when Leslie criticizes her, but accepts his help in battling Nial and Lain. The pair encounter the Chuunis and their ally Dave Croslowski in the middle of a sectioned off portion of the town. Hatfield torments Lain while fighting Nial, before her younger cousin stands up to her. Hatfield and Leslie are caught by Dave's illusion attack and lose sight of the trio. Hatfield flirts with Leslie only to be crestfallen to learn he's spoken for. Hatfield reappears at the second Villain Summit and is tasked with recovering the kidnapped Max. She teams up with Leslie, Rosette and newcomer Cindy to investigate Charles. After searching his girlfriend's apartment, Hatfield gets a tip about strange behavior near the local hotel which leads the group to their opponents. Once there Hatfield and Cindy team up to battle the Hotel staff brainwashed by Charles. She fought tenaciously against the seven staff members supporting Cindy, Sophie and Spencer with her handgun tricks. Eventually she was forced into a corner by the Mysterious Youth, before being saved by Lain. When Leslie and Rosette reappeared, she escaped with them through a hotel backdoor.

Arc 4: Hatfield attends the Villain Summit wherein she is kidnapped by Mauvis in order to attack the Heroes. The Pair accost McCoy, Melady and Rivvy at the closer gas station. Following the bout, Hatfield is abandoned by Mauvis and surrenders to McCoy and Melady. She is taken to the local cafe by them and reveals the Government's secrets to McCoy and Melady. Hatfield apologies to McCoy and promises to do good moving forward. The trio regroup with Nial's team to attack the Government Facility. Hatfield teams up with McCoy and Feltgear to infiltrate the basement and free the hostages. While there the Trio is attacked by Leslie and is forced back by his attacks bolstered by Rivvy. Hatfield later engages in the final battle with Mauvis before retiring to Windy's loft for night.

Arc 5: Hatfield and May bond over wanting instant coffee as Windy and McCoy brew their morning batch. She accompanies McCoy, Windy and May as the group invades the Government mansion. She is locked down by Max and is almost tazed before Windy saves her. Hatfield then escapes the melting Mansion alongside McCoy thanks to Windy. She watches as Monster Waverly comes to power taking a shot at the Creatue alongside McCoy that fails to kill it. Hatfield and McCoy fless to the East of the Mansion when Missy creates a distraction. She calls Lain's phone and reaches Melady allowing the groups to coordinate. Hatfield and McCoy resolve to save the town despite Monster Waverly's overwhelming strength. The Officers start heading back toward the destroyed mansion. Hatfield starts to complain about her legs itching leading them to realize that ants are swarming their bodies. The Pair flee in search of a lake until they get caught by a sudden deluge of insects. Hatfield tackles McCoy to the ground covering him with her body. She uses her blessing to turn every insect that bites her into a handgun killing the swarm on contact. Hatfield passes out from her injuries after opening a path for McCoy to counterattack. Hatfield is later brought back by Charlie's blessing. During the final battle with Monster Waverly, Hatfield stays by McCoy's side. She helps unload on the Monster during their original assault. When Fuse joins the battle, she escapes to the skies with Lain and McCoy. While in the air, Hatfield starts turning parts of her outfit into handguns for McCoy to fill with ammo. They unload on the Monster after Stacia paralyzes it. In the climax of the battle, She shoots up Monster Waverly's book with McCoy.

Arc 6: Hatfield appears at the cemetery first alongside McCoy. She and her Partner are now expecting and have begun planning for their wedding. Hatfield asks Lain to be her maid of honor before the service. At the funeral Hatfield mourns the fallen Wonders alongside McCoy. She later asks Cindy if there are any more Wonders to which the Faceless Woman replies no. Hatfield hugs McCoy's arm as the story comes to a close.
