Kohana is a shy and quiet young woman who often sticks to herself in social situations. She dislikes groups, even if it's a group of close friends; however, she puts up with them if her best friend or boyfriend is there. She tends to slack off at a times, starting homework and studying later than she should. Her grades are acceptable, but they could use some work. She is expressive with her emotions and what she says, and tries her best to get others to understand how she's feeling at a given time. She is a major softie and struggles internally with hurting other people, including villains, so she often tries to talk her way through fights if she's able to.
