Treasure sat in that chessboard game for years, just waiting to be played with. The kids of the house were far too busy and grown up now to play with him. He missed them dearly. One day he felt like he was being picked up. He thought he was finally going to be played with again until he realized he was being sold to someone else. His family didn't want him anymore. Suddenly someone opened the box, a girl. She picked him up in her tiny hands, stared, and smiled. Then, like a dream come true, she started playing with him! In a new, creative way, not even using the other pieces of the game. He met so many other toys and had many great adventures from then on with his new family. |
