Jackie

Jackie is a very introverted person, he lacks a lot of social skills and prefers to just sit around and watch others. He does spend a lot of time thinking and has fairly strong opinions on things, but you'd never hear him vocalize any of them, like wise he rarely shows emotion. It's not that he doesn't have emotions, he can be quite sensitive and empathetic but his shyness prevents him from showing them and he has a rather dull affect that makes him seem emotionless most of the time. He lacks any sort of presence and struggles to get noticed when he wants it but it can also flip around to being a benefit to him, people tend to overlook him but that also means he's pretty good at hiding or avoiding trouble.

His favourite things to do are to sleep, daydream and watch TV, but he's recently got an interest in vehicles since traveling with his brother Gerard, and given the chance he enjoys inspecting the inner workings of various machines. He has a passing interest in several other things too, he would like to join his brother in his various schemes or learn how to fly the various space craft he's come across but actually putting in the effort to do so is another matter and he doesn't like high pressure or stressful activities.

Jackie grew up raised by his mother, the two sharing an apartment with another large family. They lived on a small planet in a tall apartment block that stretched through the clouds. Being as painfully shy as he is, he certainly struggled with living in such a busy house and was usually last in line for anything, and he never got long with the loud and boisterous kids he shared his house with. Jackies life was pretty uneventful, being an average student, not wanting or having the opportunity to pick up any kind of hobbies or skills, and prefering to spend his freetime getting as much quiet, alone time as he could. Though this all changed when his long-lost half brother, Gerard, showed up at their doorstep and offered Jackie a ride off-planet, which he quickly accepted.

Gerard was a lot of things that Jackie wasn't, he was a fast-talking conman with a seemingly unshakable confidence, though in other ways the two were more alike than they seemed, Gerard being more of an introvert, the two of them valuing their downtime and moments of quiet. With Jackie wanting a change of scene and Gerard wanting a real friend the two decided to stick together.

Jackie is currently living with Gerard and his co-worker in his spaceship. It's not really designed for multiple occupants so at present he stays in the storage room, it's not super comfortable but it's a room for himself which Jackie likes, even if sometimes he has to sleep on top of the shopping when they buy too much.
