ABOUT
"I want to be able to live without worrying!"
A non-clan born who was brought into the ShiftClan as a young kit alongside his assumed brother: Mapleblossom. He resides in ShiftClan as a respected and trusted senior warrior.
A short-haired tom with light brownish-cream fur that has darker patches of brown on his face, legs, ears, and tail. A pale, almost white, cream encases his neck and stretches down to his belly. It can also be found on his paws and the tip of his tail. There is a cluster of snapdragons on his left shoulder and his eyes are a deep, livid orange.
DESIGN
- Slim build.
- Large ears.
- Stripes can be whatever with the exception of face and ears.
- Resting expression is slight nervous.
BACKGROUND
KIT
It is unknown where he came from, but he was found with Mapleblossom as kits at the side of the thunderpath border. They seemed dazed when found and could not tell anyone who they were, where they came from, or if they even knew each other. Coyotestar decided to take them into the clan and they were raised together as brothers.
APPRENTICE
Snappaw was a diligent apprentice who was incredibly nervous and insecure about his place in the clan. This worry and stress only grew as Maplepaw became troublesome and seemed to refuse to do anything, causing Snappaw to fear that they would be driven from the clan if Maplepaw could not get his act together; Hollowspring had mentioned as such more than once. Taking it upon himself to prevent this from happening, Snappaw would constantly harp on Maplepaw and search for him when he dissappeared. This caused a great toll on their relationship and Snappaw's mental health until it all came to a head.
YOUNG WARRIOR
He and Mapleblossom were made warriors two moons after they should have been because of Snappaw's sudden sickness and the catching-up he and Maplepaw had to do. He does not remember much of his sickness, but he does remember waking up to Maplepaw right beside him in the Herbalist den. After a much needed long, heart-felt talk with Mapleblossom they became close once more. From there he was able to reconnect with his peers and focus on making friends.
SENIOR WARRIOR
As Snapjaw grew older he became well-liked throughout the clan for his riveting stories and loving nature. Always up for a round of kit-sitting, he is popular amongst the Nursery residences when they need a break from the kits. He is friends with most in the small clan and can always be counted on for completing any last minute duties or patrols without complaint. If he is not entertaining the kits or apprentices he can be found hanging out with his brother.
IMMEDIATE FAMILY
Starting out closer than two buds on a branch, almost dying, and then reconciling has created an oak-strong relationship between the brothers. Sometimes Mapleblossom scares him, however.

- Snapjaw has had to take poppy seeds more than once because of his stress.
- The snapdragon flowers were a gift from his brother when they were named warriors.
- Snapjaw has always wanted a mate and kits but it just wasn't in the stars.
- He would have struck Lionstar over the re-naming of his apprentice if she hadn't moved.
