Lyra Vorovren

Mother

A hardcore traditionalist devotee to the Spider Queen, her holiness the Lady of Chaos, Lyza is a champion of the Old Ways. Okay fine, she might not be able to have a stock of surface elf slaves for sacrifices like Grandmother in the city anymore, but wanted criminals, goblins, or bugbears are in the right vein at least. All for the Weaver of Webs, who's favor will help Lyza propel House Vorovren to a seat on the Ruling Council they so rightly deserve.

Naturally, Emvede and her mother don't exactly see eye to eye. (If only Emvede had her eyes instead!) What Lyza wanted from her third daughter was a confident, headstrong individual, with a unyielding zealotry for Lolth. A perfect priestess for the Spider Queen. Now Lyza doesn't ~hate~ Emvede, she just wants her to return to her proper place in the darkness, deep underground, in the House's Temple of Lolth. (A little heresy is fine, it's a thin line but the Dark Mother cultivates chaos, Emvede just needs to return home! Before it's too late.) To that end, the Queen of Spiders has bestowed upon her faithful priestess Lyza the Sending spell, and Lyza likes to put it to good use. Just checking up on her wayward fool of a daughter, and convincing her to return home.

Vhondryl Vorovren

Oldest sister

The firstborn daughter of Lyza has yet to face a challenge she could not muscle her way through. Dutifully she has succefully met every challenge thrown at her by her mother, and shown herself to be a remarkable manager for the House's argricultural endeavours. Lyza is confident that when Vhondryl, when it is her time, will continue House Vorovren's trajecty to grandeur. Vhondyrl has never failed in a task, and Lyza expects she (nor anyone else) will ever see that night.

While Vhondryl can pick up a full grown rothe with ease, Emvede struggles with what most people would call a small stack of books. Over dinner Valmyr likes to joke Vhondryl stole all of Emvede's strength for herself, to which Vhondryl scoffs at. She's earned her strength, and has little patience for pulling the slack her younger sister can't lift.

Anica Vorovren

Graced by Lolth, Anica's beauty is unrivaled in the entire city of Doniburten. That coupled with House's Vorovren's rise of prominance in the city has led her to live the lavish lifestyle of a socialite. No grand ball, banquet, or party is complete without her attendence. Lyza treasures the politcal connections her daughter cultivates in the city for the House. Of all her children, Lyza successfully raised Anica to be just like her herself, savvy and devoted to the Spider Queen. One day Lyza will find a suitable partner of good standing to match with her daughter.

Anica has long sought to drag her younger sister out her shell and get her to have a good time. So far she hasn't been met with a ton of success though, most of the parties she's taken (dragged) Emvede to have been more or less disasters. Really, Emvede needs to learn to let loose like her at parties, it'll do her some good. Oh well, maybe next time will be different.

Valmyr Vorovren

Older brother

If you got a dictionary and looked up the definition of "jock" you would not find a picture of Valmyr. But Valmyr has considered buying a dictionary, cutting out a portrait of himself, and adhering it to the page next to the entry for "jock", other text on the page be damned. Then at least he would have a book with any worth keeping around.

With directly assaulting and eliminating rival houses falling out of favor (unfortunately) in recent centuries, Lyza hasn't found the immediate need to have her firstborn son trained to manage the house guard, so, she's left him largely to his own devices so long as there's at least some kind martial intent in his endevour's. To that end he's embraced Stalagball with every fiber of his being, he's even made it onto a professional team in Doniburnten. Valmyr won't let you forget that they won the championship seven years ago.
