Adynnar Varren/Orion Belmont

Adynnar Varren (aka Orion Belmont) was a smuggler-turned-privateer-turned-smuggler in the Old Republic era. Born on Corellia, he worked in his family's shipping company, learning at an early age how to fly, as well as shoot a blaster should he need to protect himself in the Outer Rim. When he was 12 years old, his younger sister Shaale was scouted by the Jedi. With the war raging on, new force users were being recruited at older and older ages. Shaale was 9 when she left her family, and Adynnar held a grudge against the Jedi ever since. He began smuggling not long after he took his first solo delivery and left home at 19 to avoid catching his family in any of his dealings. 

It wasn't long after that when he first caught legal trouble with the Republic, and specifically a Mirialan commando named Sidavi N'jawen. When she could no longer ignore his crimes and their increasingly serious nature, she gave the 21 year old a choice. To avoid being thrown into a cell, she helped set him on a path to privateering (and a whirlwind romance). However, galactic unrest and the Sacking of Coruscant brought Republic spending crashing down and Adynnar was let go from his position at 22. 

Listless again and jaded by the government that ruled him, Adynnar turned back to smuggling, becoming involved in crime lords and turf wars until he made a name for himself. But with a recognizable name comes people that want to bring you down. Cornered by hunters chasing three different bounties on Alderaan, Adynnar faked his death at the age of 28 and went into hiding. Now 33 years old, he's spent the last five years behind the name Orion Belmont and staying (mostly) on the right side of the law, but still far under the radar. He’s kept himself busy by pulling from his mechanical knowledge and running a garage on Nar Shaddaa, fixing everything from droids to speeder bikes to starships. It's only recently, after meeting his new companions, and falling for the Mirialan Sith Syrin Spero, that Orion is willing to face his past as Adynnar and seek forgiveness from the people he's hurt; starting with Sidavi and ending with his family.
