Normally, a Chespin has a very hard, wood-covered body to protect it from physical hits. Unlike most, this strawberry garden variant has a more spongy, soft cover that protects it from special attacks instead of physical. Because of it's many magically charged leaves, this Chespin also has a higher special attack stat than it's attack stat. Yet, due to it's softer body, it avoids conflict with others by running away.
