Hanten

a character used for a fair short lived homebrew dnd campaign

Hanten's a young demon living near the border of their country, a small village fraught with skirmishes, they were an orphan and never knew their parents. They often resorted to stealing and other petty crimes to get by, and was beaten so badly at one point in ther youth it left their face seriously scarred. They are taken in as the pupil of a renowned stealth dragon about a year before the campaign begins proper, but their master disappears without a word one day. Having learned the art of stealth and swordmanship they feel confident they can properly protect themselves now but is sort of at a loss with what to do with their life. They decide to try and track down their old master and determine what it means to live a proper life and become a good person by the time they reunite.

Their most notable relationship during the campaign was with another player character Pluck, who was a baby dinosaur. They looked after them as a sort of older sibling figure and the two were travelling companions for the months immediately preceding the campaign. Being good at keeping their head low, all of Hantens crimes committed in that time were blamed on Pluck.
