Klaus is the alpha of the Old Mall Pack. He is a compassionate dog. He throws himself fully into thatever he sets his mind to, from a patrol route, to his leading style, he takes pride in his work and is not afraid to show it. Klaus is known to be highly protective of what is his. His pack, his loved ones, nothing will stop him from keeping them safe. If someone hurts or threatens his pack, they will see a side to the german shepherd that is cold and ruthless, a formidable enemy to deal with from there on out.

Klaus was the sole pup born to his parents, they were a strict and proud couple, who wanted their pup to be the best of the best. "You are our legacy, never forget that" they had murmured to their pup. When he was made a scout, he felt that ideal weigh even heavier on him, but took it in stride. They wanted a legacy? he would give them a legacy.
During his scout year, he met Venus. A saluki scout for the Hotel Pack at the time. The two hit it off and started meeting at the border between their packs and sneaking away to meet at night, he quickly became encaptured by them, and even now in their alphaship, the two meet consistently and have agreed upon an alliance between the domestic packs.
Klaus was born into german shepherd family. His mother was pure black, and his father a regular coated german shepherd. The two were quite surprised when their little pup was so oddly colored. His tricolour fur sticking out aside the coats of his parents. His parents were... strict and wanted to make sure he would be a great member of the pack, their legacy. When it was time for him to start his training, his father made sure that he was taking things seriously, and that he understood he would take over for him one day as beta.
Klaus began training with Bane, a doberman pinscher who quickly became one of Klaus's closest friends. Bane let Klaus ask questions, let him be young and a normal pup. The two would quickly switch to bein gmore serious when Klaus's parents were near, but they had fun in with training. Klaus thinks it made him better at being able to take charge.
Around this time, Klaus met Venus. Venus was a scout at the time for the Hotel Pack. The first met along the border when they were patrolling with their mentors. The two younger canines hit it off and would often meet at the border during their patrols. Klaus found himself thinking about the other canine more and more, and would often sneak off from the dens late at night just to race to the border and meet Venus so they could talk and hang out without interruption.
Soon, he was becoming a hunter, no longer always under the watchful eyes of Bane, he was free to roam where he pleased. He and Bane remained close, seeing eachother as friends despite Bane being two years older than him. His father relayed lessons and skills to him in leading, pushing him to still take his place when he retired in the year to come..
When his father retired, he proved worthy of being a beta and was selected. He threw himself into his position and hoped to help the pack in any way he could. He also kept his meetings with Venus, developing a crush on the saluki as time went on.
The older alpha of the pack, a tricolour akita by the name of Armani died unexpectedly, Klaus was now becoming the alpha of the pack at the age of 4.

These two have been friends for a very long time, from scouts to current alphas of their respective packs
Over time Klaus has started to develop a bit of a crush on the Hotel pack alpha, and would do anything to see them happy, not that he has told them that yet though...
Klaus really looks up to Magnus, literally.
When he first met Magnus, he was quite literally terrified to have the older alpha glaring right down at him. They seem to get along, Klaus hopes that that continues to be the case as he considers the other alpha a close friend of his.
