Known Lore

Illuminated by the light of living beings, Lóngfèng Island remains a quiet haven despite the raging storms surrounding it. A mysterious figure is often seen on the island by those who wander through its dark lands. To some, they appear human. And depending on who you ask, they'll also appear more masculine or feminine. To others, the god is seen as a two-headed dragon. Yet there are many other accounts throughout the centuries that never seem to match up. One thing is for certain, the deity protects the Island of Storms and is never seen elsewhere... at least not to their knowledge.

When the people of Congyro speak of a God, their first thought does not fall on Styrmir. Centuries spent lingering in one place and yet not a single soul seems to know anything about the strange deity. Euphoria, fear, awe, anxiety, peace, forlorn. People can only ever speak of their feelings after apparently visting the island because that is all they can remember.

Past

A friend is difficult to come by. Let alone in a place where Styrmir has chosen to shun the living for their own safety. Few make it through the storm barrier and even fewer ever actually set foot on land. With such a burdern not even he can comprehend, it is a sacrifice he would make a thousand times over if it meant he would never have to lose someone again.

But just as he is seen as some higher power to the naive of Congyro, he suspects there is something looking down on him as as well. For once in a while, a spirit goes astray and leads a naive soul into the depths of the caverns snaking beneath the surface- guiding their path under the storms and through the impossible maze of stone and earth to the very heart of Lóngfèng.
