About
Charmilla is an ambitious young woman that’s been thrust into a position of importance both for her heritage and intelligence. For the city of Khodour, she’s on the Rune Committee. She dedicates herself to studying and learning about the magic throughout the world and how it takes form—as well as how to harness it properly. There’s nothing more important to her aside from her family.
Passed down from her Draconic bloodline, she has horns that immediately mark her as blessed by the Sun Goddess in her culture. Great things are expected of her, but even more so since she’s a dominant Alpha. The only problem is that her dominant trait has made her averse to the pheromones of others as she’s gotten older; pheromones from Omegas and even other Alphas can make her nauseous. Only the pheromones of those she’s to be bonded to can give her relief. Regardless, she works hard and spends no time on this other problem.
Personality
Milla is a very kind woman, albeit reserved and generally a calm person. She’s the type of person to hold her problems to the side in hopes of solving the others around her—hers aren’t that important, she can handle it. Only those close to her are privy to the glimpses of a more vulnerable side to her. She cares a lot about those around her and would do anything to make sure that they’re safe, happy, and healthy. A rougher aspect to this side of her would be that her need to have her loved ones taken care of mean she’s more than once overstepped and been pushy with her advice.
This tends to cause a bit of a lapse in the care for herself. While she does take care of herself, it’s nowhere near where her loved ones think she should. She’s a hard worker and task oriented, getting lost in what she’s doing and forgetting other needs she might have. This has had an effect on her social life as well as her love life. While Charmilla does have friends, her love life suffers heavily. Added to the fact that her dominant status makes it hard to be around others at times, especially those with weak control over their pheromones doesn’t help.
Most find her a bit intimidating and don’t approach. When in reality, she’s actually quite the romantic. This side of her isn’t satisfied with her current affairs and seeks a happiness she deems unfit to do so at the time, as her work and her people should come first.
Likes
Music
She can’t live without it. Most of the time she sings it’s small lullabies or melodies that she’s learned from her family.
Snakes
She finds them fascinating and would love to take care of one. She thinks they’re all quite beautiful.
Dark chocolate
If she’s to admit to one pleasure, it’s chocolate. But never too sweet and usually a darker variety that’s more bitter.
Being outside
Despite how her job and daily life keeps her cooped up, Milla loves to be outside regardless of what the weather is. It refills her energy better than anything else.
Dislikes
Cold
The heat is far more preferable with being able to cool down as she sees fit. Too cold and she’s uncomfortable.
Pineapple
A fruit that Ayre brought her one time and she’s hated it immediately and ever since. She refuses dishes that have even a hint of it in taste.
Mess
Milla is all about organization and order; everything has a place. A messy room equals a messy mind.
Prying
Eiji is the one that pries the most into her life, knowing full well that she isn’t truly happy and should take care of herself. While she appreciates the place of love prying from close people to her can come from, it makes her feel far too weak and vulnerable for her liking.

Notes
- Horns come from the side of her head, more towards the back and give one curl before going up. They have points all around.
- Always has makeup/nails done to match her outfits as well as jewelry.
- Prefers sweeping dresses or skirts.
- Hair is streaked with purple.

Skill
Can knit and crochet, taught by her grandmother.
Habit
Milla can become too single target focused, forgetting other things while pushing towards that. Whether it’s work or a relationship.
Goal
She wants to make life better for everyone around the continent, working hard to decode and figure out the runes and magic.
Hobby
Taking long walks through the city stretching out from the mountainside is her favorite thing to do. Mingling with people, shopping among the stalls, and eating from the stands that people set up.
Summary
Since birth, Charmilla has been regarded as “special”. When her horns grew in, her family was quick to make sure to raise and teach her to the best of their ability. No expense or time was spared to give her anything she could ever need. Even so, the most important thing she was given was her family in general, not to mention her best friend Ayre. Their love and care has carried her through. When she was around the age of six, her parents adopted a young elven boy, and there was never a time they were apart until age made it so.
When she turns thirty, Milla’s grandmother passes away. Her dying wish for the young woman is for her to find her fated mate and take care of herself—to not let her life only be her work, regardless of how impressive it is. Therefore, Milla begins the tireless work of searching for the one that ease her growing symptoms and find the love her grandmother wishes for her. At first, she doesn’t think anything of this task and puts Ayre on the duty of assisting her. By the time she’s thirty-nine, however, she’s all but given up hope after exhausting any connection and ability she has to find the one that will make her feel whole and not beholden to her secondary gender and what havoc it’s begun dealing to her body.

- She wears glasses while reading texts, typically if it’s smaller in size.
- Her necklace is passed down to her from her grandmother and she wears it all the time.
- Actually prefers to be barefoot, shoes get in the way of relaxing
- Taking care of plants is how she relaxes. She doesn’t know why it calms her but after a long day that’s what she loves to do.

Ayre
She’s been friends with Ayre since she was a young girl. Ayre has gone so far as to become Charmilla’s assistant at work. Milla believes they get along well and enjoys every second that they get to spend together outside of work most of all even if it’s not very much. Ayre’s friendship means the world to her and she’d do anything to make sure Ayre is happy and wants for nothing in this world.
Eiji
Milla has loved Eiji since the day he was adopted by her parents. She considers him a brother, nothing less, and keeps a close, watchful eye over him. While she may be a bit overprotective, it’s only out of love and hope that he’s able to make it in this world no different than she has. Even so, she does appreciate and listen to his opinions as she confides in him, even more than she does with Ayre at times.
